We received a call from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a fallen 50yr old male with a lower leg injury at Ilkley Cow and Calf. There was no ambulance allocated at this time. The team used the phone find locating tool to get the casualty's exact location. The first member on scene carried out a primary survey and diagnosed an isolated ankle injury. The casualty was packaged ,put on a stretcher and carried to the casualty's own car where one of his party transported him onwards to hospital
