Monday 26th Jul 15:35Buckden GillA 64yr old man fell 7 metres down a waterfall in Buckden Gill, fracturing his pelvis. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance attended but was unable to land close to the site so a Sea King helicopter from Leconfield was called and winched him on board to take him to Harrogate Hospital.1545Photos

Thursday 15th Jul 17:20Between Great and Little WhernsideCallout by North Yorkshire Police to help man suffering with a severe angina attack. He was taken to Airedale Hospital by Yorkshire Air Ambulance.2233

Saturday 12th Jun 02:00Roman Road above Shortbank Road, Skipton.Called by North Yorkshire Police to assist in a search for a depressed man. A Sea King helicopter from RAF Leconfield was also deployed to use its thermal imaging equipment. The man turned up safe and well some time after the search was called off.10 + 1 SARDA dog40

Tuesday 30th Mar 06:30Upper WensleydaleThe team was called by Swaledale MRT following an overnight search for a local man (68) who had gone missing on moorland to the south of the Moorcock Inn. A search involving multiple teams (CRO, Kirkby Stephen MRT, Kendal MRT, RAF Leeming MRT, and SARDA,) resulted in the man being found cold but alive by a SARDA Dog Team. Sunday 28th Mar 11:20Buckden Gill10 members from Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association recovered the body of a man aged 72 from Bath who collapsed at the start of a walk with his friends and family in Buckden Gill. YAS Paramedics tried to revive him but were unsuccessful. Fatality1030
Tuesday 9th Mar 16:00Rylstone CragMembers were called to recover 2 sheep from a ledge near the cross. Both sheep were returned to the farmer safely.1020

Sunday 10th Jan 17:00HarrogateCall out by the police to assist in search for missing lady. She returned home safe and well whilst members were en route to the scene.38 members and two SARDA dogs.80
Saturday 2nd Jan 16:00Pateley BridgeThe team was called by the Ambulance Service to assist in the evacuation of a severely ill 87 year old female due to bad weather. After the woman was successfully evacuated the team encountered several stranded motorists who they also rescued as they returned to base.618
