Conistone Moor A Gamekeeper who was trapped under an overturned Argo Cat. Local farmers freed him before arrival of Team .Airlifted to hospital

Denton Ilkley Helped police in a search for a missing male. He was found dead by a Police dog.

Burley in Wharfedale Searched for a missing male who left home after a family dispute. Found a few doors away from his home.

30th March

Heugh Gill,Eastby Assist the ambulance service with a casualty. The casualty was picked up by the air ambulance as the Team arrived on scene It was a 79yr old male. Further details are not known. Apparently he walked to the air ambulance of his own accord.

1st April

Grassington Team put on standby for a lady who had gone missing from home. She was located before the team were activated.  

5th April

Starbotton to Kettlewell path Called to assit the ambulance service with a 73 year old female casualty. She had slipped and sprained/broken her left ankle. She was stretchered to a waitng ambulance.

6th April

Embsay Crag The Team was called to assist the Ambulance Service. A 51 year old lady had collapsed. Before all the team arrived on site, the casualty was airlifted by the Air Ambulance and taken to Airedale Hospital. This was particularly fortunate since ten minutes after the helicopter had taken off a heavy snowfall took place that lasted most of the afternoon.

Skipton Called to assist the police with a car in the canal. Team diver involved. Fatalities (2)

Brimham Rocks Called by the police to carry the body of a 50 year old male casualty who had suffered heart failure and fallen from rocks. Fatality

Starbotton Called to assist the ambulance with a stretcher carry of a lady with a broken ankle. The team was stood down before leaving.

Darnbrook Fell Team called to recover a dog stuck down a hole in peat. Dog not recovered.

Almscliff Crag Team called to assist fallen climber. Stood down before leaving hut.

Kettlewell Team called to assist 50 year old female who had fallen and broken her ankle on a footpath leading into Kettlewell. The casualty was stretchered to a waiting ambulance.

Giants Grave caves on the side of Pen-Y-Ghent The team was called to search for a missing lamb. The lamb was rescued safely from the depths of a cave

Dodd Fell Team called to assist with a paraglider with an injured back. Casualty was taken by the air ambulance. Team stood down before leaving the hut

Langstroth Pot Team called to assist a male stuck on 2nd pitch of cave. Casualty evacuated successfully

Wharfedale & Littondale 5 students 'missing' whilst on a D of E expedition. Found safe and well. Evacuated by RAF Sea king helecopter

Pateley Bridge Missing female with health problems. Stood down by the Police as Team Members on route to location

Ilkley Team called to assist the police in the search for a missing 63 year old male. The man was later found safe and well

Ilkley Moor Team called to assist a 66 year old female with a badly broken ankle.

Conistone Pie Team called to assist in the retrieval of a Boxer dog with a dislocated hind leg.

10th September

Bolton Abbey Team called for missing male 27. The Team was assisted by SARDA (Search and Rescue Dog Association) and an RAF Sea King Helicopter made an extensive search - but without result.

13th September

Bolton Abbey Resume search for missing 27 year old male. Assisted by 2 Search dogs and 10 police officers. Man found safe & well. He came out of hiding after seeing all the activity.

15th September

Parcevall Hall A lady slipped on the track above Parcevall Hall.The report said she had a suspected broken ankle.Her party helped evacuate her to the nearby road. The team was stood down before leaving the base.  

27th September

Shortbank Rd, Skipton Team called to assist in the search for a missing male. Team and Sea King helicopter using its thermal imaging equipment searched unsuccessfully until stood down by the police.

Shortbank Rd, Skipton Team called to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service and Police in a body recovery. Fatality

4th October

Masongill Ireby Fell Cavern Assist CRO with the evacuation of 25 cavers, including 2 who were beyond a sump and had to be dived out. UWFRA also provided additional equipment on a night when the CRO dealt with 4 underground incidents and 1 surface incident.

Buckden Gill Call to assist a man who was stuck partway down the steep side slope of Buckden Gill clinging to a small tree. The team were met by the man part way up the Gill as he tried to continue his descent.
