The tea was called by the police to assist in the search for a missing 78 year old male. An RAF Sea King helicopter and two SARDA dogs were also involved in the search. The man turned up safe and well.

Man who had fallen down waterfall

Buckden Gill

A 64yr old man fell 7 metres down a waterfall in Buckden Gill, fracturing his pelvis. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance attended but was unable to land close to the site so a Sea King helicopter from Leconfield was called and winched him on board to take him to Harrogate Hospital.

The team was called to rescue a sheep stuck 50 metres inside a tunnel of the sluice way of Barden High Dock Reservoir

Callout by North Yorkshire Police to help man suffering with a severe angina attack. He was taken to Airedale Hospital by Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Roman Road above Shortbank Road, Skipton.

Called by North Yorkshire Police to assist in a search for a depressed man. A Sea King helicopter from RAF Leconfield was also deployed to use its thermal imaging equipment. The man turned up safe and well some time after the search was called off.

CRO assist. A runner in the Three Peaks Fell Race, stumbled and sustained a head injury. He was treated on scene by UWFRA members, CRO and North Air Ambulance Paramedics.

The team was called by Swaledale MRT following an overnight search for a local man (68) who had gone missing on moorland to the south of the Moorcock Inn. A search involving multiple teams (CRO, Kirkby Stephen MRT, Kendal MRT, RAF Leeming MRT, and SARDA,) resulted in the man being found cold but alive by a SARDA Dog Team. 10 members from Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association recovered the body of a man aged 72 from Bath who collapsed at the start of a walk with his friends and family in Buckden Gill. YAS Paramedics tried to revive him but were unsuccessful. Fatality

Call out by the police to assist in search for missing lady. She returned home safe and well whilst members were en route to the scene.

Pateley Bridge

The team was called by the Ambulance Service to assist in the evacuation of a severely ill 87 year old female due to bad weather. After the woman was successfully evacuated the team encountered several stranded motorists who they also rescued as they returned to base.
